The Vincci Seleccion Rumaykiyya is the only five-star hotel in the Sierra Nevada ski resort and as such boasts an enviable position as the premier accommodation of choice among skiers. Its elegant character is evident in its design the use of wood and clay reflects and augments the breathtaking location, high in the mountains in southern Spain. However, far from feeling isolated, guests at this Vincci are at the heart of the skiing (and the all important après-skiing) action.

Through the large windows guests can gasp at the crisp, pure air, the snow-dusted peaks and the distant horizon while, averting their gaze inwards, the top-quality furnishings are sure to melt the frostiest of hearts. The staff are professional and attentive, nowhere more so than in the hotels exquisite a la carte La Arqueria restaurant, which boasts one of the finest menus in the resort, drawing on a fusion of regional and international influences. Breakfast is served as a hearty buffet, lunch is available between 13:30 and 15:30 and dinner is a unique affair, offering a buffet for first course and dessert, and a main course consisting of a choice of that days specials. A separate childrens menu is provided for the little ones.
The hotels leisure facilities are as impressive and exhaustive as the restaurants menu, boasting something for everybody, including the eternally-popular spa centre, which offers a vast array of beauty, health and relaxation treatments. A separate bar and cafeteria provides guests with inviting opportunities to relax, while the après-ski room is perfect for dancing the night away (ankles permitting, of course). The hotel can also arrange a wealth of ski, snowboarding and snow sledging classes, with a day spent sledging with a pack of huskies sure to please the whole family. Other excursions include horse riding (but not in winter) and trips to the Alhambra.
